Good Morning All !!
I decided to take a break from BLOG writing for a little while. I got a notification from my blog service (don't know who or what that is) I think Google....will be making changes....don't know what they are....
Maybe I should take some time to actually learn how to use the computer and phone as well. I went to Apple last week because I thought I was having a battery problem. I didn't . As the very kind and patient young Apple guy was showing me 'stuff' I could only think "who knew....really ? ....I had no idea....",
In general life is fine. That means as a person with PD. Good days, challenging days, meds that work, meds that don't work. I can drive, which is a huge factor in maintaining independence . Unwavering support from family and friends. Using equipment more such as walkers and canes and grabbers . I move sticks and stones and bricks. I am ok.
If you want you can always write to me for questions and comments at dianegtunis@gmail.com. I give advice and opinions freely. (only when asked !!)
Diane

I like the rock arrangement in the front yard. Are those the rocks we got last year when I visited? I have seen some lovely rock and pebble sidewalks and patios made by very patient and artistic people, not me! Circles are so soothing reminding us that every deed or thought expands infinitely. (Yes still a little bit of a math nerd.)
ReplyDeleteDiane have you ever been to an Endocrinologist , on the 6th floor in the same building as Dr. Pagan ? Well, by accident I was told to take a bone density test. Results were " Rapid bone loss " and the Dr. said if I get my implant I " would fracture my jaw " Diane, possibly like me you are deficient in VIT. D or calcium. Now I take extra precautions . I use my walker outdoors always , Even though I hold onto my arm onto Phil;s, I have to still be careful. Ironically , I am fine on a FLAT surface. With Previous dance experience I can balance my walks and movements. That is why when you see me at class. i am experienced enough know what to do if I stand and loose my balance. Still, I do take chances. With Music it helps my coordination and ironically my balance. Okay Diane, please feel better. Still come to class Don't shy away. It will help you. If I can do it with all these diagnosis of my bones you can too be helped and have a happy positive attitude. FORGE ON ! your friend with care and love, Pam
