I haven't been back to the pool. Doc says my experience could be abou t med timing or ????? Friend Judi says it happens to her as well.
Discussion at our Support Group included CARS. Problems (PD) are getting in and out of the car, and parking (I need rubber bumpers) Each of us has our own particular challenges while driving....but agree that it is important to our sense of independence
I looked up online 'best cars for seniors' and of course SUBURU wins. I love (always have ) estate sales, garage sales, and thrift shops. My friend says think of it as "Salvation Armani" although I wouldn't know Armani from ?????
Changing some meds. Was feeling draggy and lethargic on the patch (for PD and Alzheimers). Back to 'normal'......whatever normal is !!
Just learned that my Uncle Eddie (92) , my moms younger brother, has been diagnosed with PD. Surprised but not really.

ReplyDeleteHi Dianne ! Today is Tues. Just read your comment on "marijuana "". Diane do you know for certain this will help you ? I realize in New Jersey, some young children used this and their seizures stopped! Oddly enough I have received several emails from the " Government " wanting me for a trial with cannibus ( can't spell ) for Pain research. I guess because I have Parkinson's. I requested further information several times, but no reply. It is either NIH or some military group, ( remember the LSD experiments conducted on the soldiers by the CIA ? ) Lot's of suing after the results hurt these soldiers. Anyhow,it could also be a major Hoax of some kind. I keep wondering how they got my name and why they are persisting to get me into this trial ? Anyhow, the reply I gave was that I do not take unnatural med.s, that have not been tested properly, even though it helped the children in New Jersey with seizures. Every body I heard of is running to obtain marijuana to help their kids, even moving to states that have legalized this! Anyhow, I still get messages from the " Government " Now, I simply delete, particularly when I don't get any response. Really odd Diane don't you think ? Anyways, this is Tues. I am going to my husbands Cardiologist today. Phil has reacted terribly with muscle pains throughout his body after taking CRESTOR and previously ZORCOR, for cholesterol. I did a lot of researchand came up with a good solution and I hope she will be happy and not keep pushing Phil to take this med. or another. Well, I have an extensive list of FOODS you can eat and drink that will help you obtain GOOD CHOLESTEROL. So, very diplomatic, I will share this with her and hopefully she will agree that this is a good alternative. Diane, I can't wait to hear from you regarding your plight.! I only wish they would come up with a solid solution to the problem of mucus lots of Parkinson's patients have.Never a dull moment eh " A " ?
